Living in Seattle area, I didn't have the chance to say goodbye to my mum when she passed away at the hospice. She had wished for simple cremation. However, I was very glad that Amherst was able to provide me with a simple viewing for few moments to say goodbye to my mum at their little chapel in Coquitlam. And they didn't charge me exorbitant prices I had been warned of what other funeral homes would typically charge me for the same service. I am very thankful there's still dignified company left in this industry. I had meaningful and intimate goodbye with my mum at their humble yet lovely chapel facility. I would recommend them to anyone in need of such service.
I lost my mom few months back. Though her wishes had been for no-service cremation, my sister didn't quite make it in time to see her last days at the hospital. Amherst was able to give her and our family a chance to say goodbye one last time at their facility. They made her look so peaceful and beautiful.
