Super friendly staff are always willing to help, and Ive brought in some really odd questions! Theres quite a big selection for such a small place, and you can get most of what you need for your weekend project here. The prices are quite decent as well. If you want to quickly grab a special item, definitely come here as its way faster than walking through the giant Home Depot to find the one little thing you need.
We try to buy local and support the smaller businesses but after todays experience we just went to Rona. It appears your store has no idea what first come first service means. After standing in line and watching other customers get help we finally left your store but not until we heard one of the customers who were after us tell the fellow at the desk that we were first and your employee saying oh well. So Poco Building Supplies we will no longer shop at your store, oh well!

Nice email back from Poco , unfortunately they are too busy to handle only one simple window request .I wish i could cut the star in half ! It appears they only take big orders.
From the initial planning stages, until completion, Jake and the staff at POCO Building supplies were there to help guide me through each phase of my backyard deck project. I really appreciated the advice, and always felt Jake had my best interests in mind. In fact, Jake never "steered" me towards one product over another, but rather gave me all of the pro's and con's, so I could make an informed decision. He also was able to give me tips and techniques that made the project go much smoother. Although their pricing was very competitive, the lasting impression for me was the friendly staff in the yard, at the checkout, and the delivery driver. It was my first time dealing with a local hardware store, and I'll definitely be using POCO Building supplies for my future projects.
