It's okay. Underground parking is poorly designed. I don't think it's possible to get into the theater without getting rained on. Signage is poor. The stairwell we found was dirty and the top concrete step is badly damaged and unsafe. We tried to get back in the same way after the show but found them locked. Rather than walk a significant distance to the pedestrian entrance at the opposite end of the parkade to where we parked, we ended up walking down the car ramp. I couldn't find the car exit, signage is very poor and confusing. VIP bathrooms are very nice, also the obvious solution to the transgender dilemma. There are plenty of staff working in the VIP lounge, but they are all young and inexperienced. Drinks were very slow and mediocre for the price. I wouldn't go out of my way to arrive early to spend money in the lounge on purpose. If it was my business I would get rid of half the staff and pay the higher wages to get upscale restaurant servers. The productivity and sales will be better. Get a proper bar tender. The lighting in the VIP lounge isn't right either. They missed the mark on the atmosphere, it's like a lounge at the airport.
First fell in love with this location when they introduced the VIP lounge & theatres - perfect for kid-free date nights. Ordering snacks & drinks from the movie seat felt so luxurious! This is still my go-to spot for family & friend movie dates with 3D and D-box options for all ages. I don't like overpaying for kids concession snacks & beverages so we usually make a point of eating before or after the show and there's plenty of eateries in the area to get you more bang for your buck. Most of the parking is underground, so don't waste time circling the upper lot of you're going at a peak time.
Love this theatre. Clean and spacious. Large parking lot. Also has the Adult only VIP theatre which is a nice treat.
I've been going here for many years. I feel tempted to give a bad review because one of the staff was very rude to me and lied to me, turning my VIP ticket into a general admission.I won't do that though. I will do my best to do a unbiased review. Love the movies, and the atmosphere of he theatre. It's almost like Colossal Theatre back in Langley. The food is great and there's a huge arcade. However, the price is too outrageous. Studies have show that theatres have the biggest ripoff for food like popcorn and snacks. Then again, the theatres have much more space than others like Landmark and the Silvercity at Metrotown.I like Cineplex, but I don't think the prices are worth paying, especially since they raises the prices.
This theater has nice clean seats, big screens, and the arcade area is pretty modern. I was able to burn up a couple of hours here on different arcade games and my daughter had a great time. I would say that the DDR machine is too quiet, as I got my butt kicked pretty hard. Otherwise, cool layout and as good as expected.
