We went to this firm for assistance in resolving an estate issue that we had been unsuccessful in dealing with on our own. We based our choice of law firms on the glowing Google reviews, and the fact that they were a local business. Unfortunately, the firm was absolutely no help at all. I suspect that the lawyer that was assigned our file was outside his narrow area of expertise, was absent of relevant experience, and perhaps did not have the mandate to address our concerns. In all fairness, while our matter is in no way unique or uncommon, it it is complex, ugly and promises to be lengthy; I suspect this was simply outside of the comfort zone for this firm and we were pretty much brushed off.The firm's efforts, and their fee, got me a repeat of exactly what I got on my own initiative, except it took a really long time; the only timely contact with the firm occurred when they wanted to be paid...the bill, and the subsequent reminder, came very quickly.We have had an entirely different experience with a new law firm. They are clear on what they can do, what they cannot do, and how long it will take; their actions have mirrored their words.
