After hand surgery I was referred to CBI in Port Coquitlam to have a cast made to isolate my thumb. Then thereafter for hand physio. My therapist Victor Paul was friendly and knowledgeable. He explained all aspects of the recovery process with me. My exercise regime was discussed and tailored to my needs. CBI staff were all friendly and courteous. I would recommend this facility to anyone with hand issues.
After a workplace lower back injury Worksafe sent me to CBI for occupational therapy. Very knowledgeable staff, Joanne, Josh and Terry are an awesome team. I genuinely felt they wanted to help me get back in the game and not only focus on my fitness for work, but overall health and fitness. I highly recommend this group of professionals.
I had a work place injury that happen last year of April that was located around my lower back. It has been on going in terms of pain and mobility. I have tried other physio place, chiropractor, acupuncture and have been given good result albeit it took some time. I decided to try another physio therapist under a friend recommendation and I am glad I did. Terry, my physiotherapist, was very informative. He was able to communicate with me to help pin-point the area or muscle so he can give me proper exercise to strength it. He was able to reduce the pain I was feeling a lot quicker. I was able to get my life back before my injury. I highly recommend CBI for your physio needs.
Unfortunately I had a trip and fall accident and broke my wrist and required surgery. Two weeks following surgery my staples and brace were removed and I was recommended for physio. I was worried and scared as I was still in a lot of pain and had zero movement in my hand/wrist. It was a very stessful time as my surgeon, although very good, did not give me a recovery plan. I made an appointment to see the hand specialist at CBI and met Victor Paul. Right from the beginning I could tell Victor knew his stuff. He explained everything to me in detail. From the type of break I had to what I would experience in my recovery and reassured me that I would regain full motion in my hand in time. It's been over 12 weeks, and although I still have some swelling and limitations, I have now been able to return to work. Victor is very knowledgeable and excellent at his job and without his help I would not be back at work. Thank you Victor!! I would highly recommend CBI Health Centre and especially Victor Paul the certified hand therapist!
