ScanDesigns' stock in trade is clean upscale Scandinavian design and craftsmanship - tables can feature clever folding mechanisms and nearly invisible space saving features that are delightful to see in action. Upon first glance we expected sticker shock but were pleasantly surprised instead. We're glad we saved ScanDesigns for last in Coquitlam's "furniture alley" because it cemented our decisions, having seen everything on offer, to go all in here.We furnished an entire suite for less than expected and the quality is top notch. Staff was informative, helpful and unobtrusive, unlike most other furniture stores in this area which trend toward aggressive salespeople. Special thanks to Jesse for taking the time to answer so many questions!We'll unreservedly recommend SD to our friends and family after this experience.
The worst staff I've ever experienced while shopping for furniture in this furniture store.In the past I've spent thousands of dollars here and after buying a new home I was about to do the same, otherwise I will not go back due to this rude individual staff member, while walking on one of the ails I heard behind me one of the staff say "excuse me" not once but twice I looked back and notice her leaning back on a display off to the side of a section of furniture talk over the aisle to potential buyers in another section across the ails living the pathway open she even then complained to these buyers how rude we were loud enough that I could hear her complain to them,I walked backed and asked if she worked in the store she laughed sarcastically and said yes and snaped oped her Chinese fan and waved it in her face. If she was standing up and at least in the same section we would not have accidentally crossed in front of her, how would one know she was even talking to potential buyers and her making appoint in assuming she could treat us in this bad manner. This individual should not work in the sale service industry and will chase good potential buyers away.update for the ownerThere is no miscommunication. I had brought this to the manager right the way, so maybe you should ask the manager on duty on that day that it happened. And if this person has worked for you for many years maybe it about time to refresh her customer's service skills. I have never written a negative review about anyone until now only due to her action.
Of all the stores on furniture row on United Blvd. this store has the best quality furniture and sales people that don't stalk you. They are helpful but not pushy and their prices and delivery/set up charges are very reasonable.
Awful service.Selling rented furniture as discounted item!Manager was even worst in customer service after we saw the same item we were buying cheaper price in their second floor.. .. they claimed it is lower price becubec they rented before to movie company!!We went to buy furnitures for whole house and end up leaving the store with unhappy feeling.Think twice before buy
