This was the first Browns where we had a server who took our peanut allergy seriously and helped us order safely. Wow. Didnt know they put peanuts in the deep fryer so theres high chance of cross contamination in anything deep fried. We were pleased the server took the time to carefully inform us. Theyre also great at handling large groups with no fuss.
I had an excellent experience here when we ordered a salad that was made incorrectly, and the staff (and manager) apologized, got the salad remade, took it off the bill, and gave us a gift card. It was really sincere and very appreciated. The customer service will keep us coming back!Thanks again!
Great bar, solid food. I think they might be slaughtering the cow in the back because its take a while for my steak to come out. The beer is bubbly and fresh. They are playing womens golf on the tele. I wasnt 100% thrilled and they gave me a certificate to come back. I do respect there dedication to providing an excellent experience and nothing less. Well done, I will be back.
Best Browns I've been to. Always quick and friendly service. One of the waitresses there recognized me and my fiance and also remembered what we typically order. I don't like the new design layout for their menus, I preferred it the old way. But no matter what I order, it's always tasty. We live in the building upstairs and it's nice to have a solid alternative to cooking dinner once and a while. I have yet to find a meal choice I've been unhappy with here.
There are not many pubs nearby.. Good service, friendly but slightly less intuitive staff. Beer is decent. Calimari needs more brining and dry ribs need bit more cooking.. all in all, fairly nice gathering place. If this place was in downtown Vancouver, I'd probably give 3 stars. But at the same time, I am thankful for having this Browns in a walking distance.
