I came with a Groupon after reading some reviews. The restaurant is indeed attached to the Executive Hotel, which sorta makes its ambience pretty nice. Their cuisine is very like Bistro or Fusion style, unique and tasty.
For my birthday my brother sent me a Groupon dinner for two. We didn't know what to expect going in, but we were both pleasantly surprised. My husband and I don't go out for dinner that often, as a rule choosing from one of our favorite places. The Wild Fig may be added to that list. My husband started with the Tomato and Basil soup and I upgraded to the Calimari, which we shared. My tenderloin was done to perfection, a nice medium, excellent presentation with whipped potatoes and vegetable medley. My husband had the Chicken and Bacon Linguine with julienne vegetables, which he thoroughly enjoyed. He tried both dinners, having to help me with mine. Another person said the meals were skimpy, but I would disagree. Our server Gerri was very personable and attentive.
Room service guest at The Executive Hotel-ordered the Beef Carpaccio and the Seafood Linguine with Tomato Sauce. I was pleasantly surprised to find HOMEMADE FRESH PASTA in my dish. The little buttery cheese toast to mop up the sauce was superb and I wish they had used 2 slices. I could order that toast on its own it was so good. 5 star food, photos on this review site dont do the menu justice. TIP: the restaurant website has a better menu than the room service binder and I was able to order off the website. Yumm!
The restaurant manager Francis is awesome. We just had my mom's party over the weekend for 25 guest and Francis went beyond my expectation. He was on top of everything and made sure that we are comfortable and having fun. The food was very good as well. I totally recommend this restaurant for good customer service and delicious meal.
My husband and I had a wonderful dinner at this restaurant. It was delicious food and was prepared by an amazing chef. The staff was professional and friendly. Frances went above and beyond our expectations. It's a great place to dine, dance and listen to a great live band. I will be most definitely returning .
