I haven't been to Joey's for awhile and I will be going again soon. I really enjoyed my fish tacos they very tasty and the best that I've had. Service was very good. Parking can be tough but they have complimentary valet service.

It's an awesome place and I make sure that I visit few times whenever I am traveling to Vancouver. Good choice of beers. My personal favourite juxtapose IPA and it a must try. If you like non-biter beer then try 1644 kranenburg. Food is good too. Yum fries and humus is good for vegetarians

We have been to the other Joey's which clearly have a much higher standard. It took way too long for my husband to make a reservation as they put you on hold for 10mins. It was my birthday and my food was cold and under cooked and it took FOREVER to get a drink and the bill. Not to mention the presentation was lacking and it was insanely loud and I could barely hear the person right next to me. We would not go back to this Joey's.UPDATE: After our first experience at this location the Night Manager Cheryl contacted us and graciously offered us a replacement evening. So we took them up on the offer and went for my husband's birthday this time. We just wanted to say thank you for giving us such a beautiful retribution evening for my husband's birthday. It felt really special and we both felt a huge difference from our first experience. Riley (our server) was great! He was very attentive and sweet. As well, our food was delicious! My husband and I think that they possibly make one of the best burgers and chicken parm around. We highly recommend either dish. So we give them an A+ for the turn around. We can't wait to find time for another date night so we can eat there again :)

Wish I had found this place a long time ago. The black sign out front makes it pretty easy to miss when you drive by so I only found it by looking through google reviews for a good place to eat, and I've lived in Coquitlam for 8 years. Glad I did though, cause the food is abnormally good. Like wow.. everything was so rich with flavour. Definitely ask for a mild spice though if you don't like things too pepped up. I just got back from Turkey and while the food there was phenomenal this place definitely left me impressed. Love the Elderflower cocktail too. Not too sweet, and just enough flavour. Great setting inside too. Very welcoming, and clean. Kid friendly too.

For a box restaurant, joey satisfies my appetite. From the ambiance, the modern styled bar and the menu, the restaurant has it going on. I usually dont do box restaurants because of its cookie cutter signature but at times it is the easiest way to get the whole family together for brunch when it involves the great grandparents and a couple of kids added to the mix. I ordered the chicken and ribs because of the tempting smoked sent in the air while entering the building. The smell just enticed me to bite into summer again not wanting to let go of it. The chicken breast was surprisingly delicious and flavorful. The ribs however had a tougher slightly burnt hue to it. Although the ribs tasted delicious, I do prefer when my ribs are a little less cooked and more on the tender, fall off the bone type scenario. I didnt mind it at all though because it tasted like a tender jerky, I ate the whole thing satisfied. As for desert, if you havent tried the chocolate lava cake, then you should becouse its the main reason to come to this restaurant. Youll be addicted to the chewy crust and ooozing center. The Apple pie is also delicious. Probably one of the better apple pies youll try in town. The servers are always friendly and hospitable which makes the dining experience that much betterI recommend this place especially if you have a thing for box restaurants. As for alwaysEnjoy and happy eating!
