Beautiful forest hike. The trails have quite the grade to them so this isn't a stroll and is more of a hike. The trails are marked with maps posted throughout but sometimes junctions can be confusing. The park is surrounded by residential roads so it is difficult to get properly lost. Some lovely views can be seen through the trees at some parts of the trail.
Hidden gem! No main entrance, but wow what a park once your in! Nice loop with elevation, and many different areas. Not busy, as its an interesting one to find. Wow!! Off leash dog friendly.
This park tells the sad story of how the city of coquitlam has neglected care for the tail system and community physical activity. The potential for this park is great and the day that the maps throughout the park get replaced by new updated, easy to follow maps,- old maps date 2000... - it will a step in the right direction. As of now, it is a failed community park.
