Lafarge Lake and TCP are great place to walk/run or read a book and relax. TCP has many soccer fields, baseball fields and professional tracks. The fields are lighted until 930 10 pm.

With acres of sporting facilities (e.g. rubber track, rubber soccer pitches, baseball diamonds, tennis courts, etc) skateboard park, mountain bike skills park, lake, amphitheatre, we have much to be grateful to the generous donors of the land. There is a humble plaque behind the tennis courts by a rusty piece of retired machinery that acknowledges the donors that is well worth the visit to acknowledge the ones to make this space possible.

Lovely spot, and very large, with lots to do for kids (nice big playground + a spray park) & adults alike. Big skatepark & dirt track bike park; beach volleyball; soccer, etc.; washroom facilities + concession (seasonal). It's a nice place for a walk - especially around Lafarge Lake (great place to see ducks & geese, plus many other birds), any time of the year; popular for dog walking, too.Close to major amenities: Skytrain, Douglas College, Evergreen Cultural Ctr., City Hall, Coquitlam Ctr. (major shopping mall) & plenty of eateries and other retail in plazas outside of the mall, too.Annual fireworks and a long list of other public events, most notably, the winter lights displays around Lafarge Lake.

One of the best kept natural grass playing fields during the entire summer open to all for relaxing through entire evening till late night and no lights at all so you can enjoy the winding down of your body stress levels to hit the bed with lots of support for serotonin secretion. Checkout the panoramic view of the grassy playing field captured around 8 pm PDT close to a week from today. For past week I've been the last person to leave around 10 pm. I'm trying to spot mars in the South which is supposed to be at third above horizon measured till top. But the light pollution is a big barrier till 10 pm. If someone it's able to view mars from this field by the end of this month then do share your viewing experience. Enjoy the gem of a grassy field!

Great park, it's clearly a wealthy city. They should take better care of their Lil buddy PoCo.
