Honestly, this school is actually not that bad, but the current building is literally falling apart. thankfully, they're building a new school that's planned to open in September 2018. if you want to play video games at lunch, then be prepared to bring an iron man suit and some oversized earplugs. its practically a warzone at lunch. its so loud i actually couldn't hear my teacher very well in my next class. its mostly a bunch of 11 year olds who still dab that are the annoying ones, but sometimes the odd 12 year old joins in. whats really annoying is that they scream really loud when thy die. my ears are dead now.

It's a good school with awesome teachers. I like to go there, except for the fact that the kids in my class are way to noisy...

The school itself is really old and the appliances arent working well but they are building a new version of the school with updated rooms and appliances. The teachers are good and know what theyre doing but some dont really teach well. Overall nice school and cant wait for it to be rebuilt.

This school is old. I mean FOSSIL old. Every few months some low-life degenerates throw rocks at more and more windows and we board more and more of them up - except for one of them in a stairway, which looks like it just got hit by Stalingrad yesterday, since it's too big to board up. However, a new school is being built on the same property adjacent to the old one as we speak, so this problem won't persist.Pros- More veteran teachers like Ms. Cleto and Mr. Lowey are very fun to be around with and very knowledgeable, and newer ones like Ms. Davis use technology more- Taking a Friday or Monday off is quite common- Principal is ex-police so there a lot of assemblies regarding crime and why it's dangerous, interesting stuff- End of the year camp (log cabins, not tents) trip for Grade 8'sCons- School is old, lockers and desks are the most noticeably dated things- Staff (not teachers, staff higher up than that) attempt to pander to youth (badly) and are out of touch with students in general- Obnoxious younger kids at computer lab at lunch, very loudOverall this is a pretty good school. Obviously.

Banting is definitely a fun school! I love this school so much and I'm excited for next year, especially since they're building a new school! Mme Fenrick is an excellent teacher, and she can teach you numbers 1-100 in french in like 2/3 weeks. I've learned so many vocab words and tenses, it's just amazing! Only thing that could improve is the fact that in team P.E, the teachers said we would play games, do running and exercises, etc, but we only really do running. The last time we played a game was at the start of the year, and it's almost the end of term 2 right now. And we have to run 6/4 laps almost every time. But anyways, if you want amazing teachers, staffs and an excellent principal, come to Banting! Oh yeah and bring some armour and earmuffs, because if you want to play video games at lunch , your ears will die.
