Nice little park to visit. Usually the same kids and parents visiting so everyone is pretty friendly. Wish they still had the 2nd basketball hoop up so more kids could play at once.
Price of products especially fruits and vegetables is very good but I dont recommend as they are not of high quality. However, I often buy meat and chicken from Parsian. Overall, I like it becuase provides a wide range of persian foods.
3.5 stars for this small park for this neighbourhood.kids, young parents and seniors use this park for their activities. The biggest drawback is no picnic tables, no fountain,no flowers, not enough benches and trees.
Too bad. I grew with up in the apartment complex on Smith right across from the park. We used to play there before it was a park....and it was just dirt. Where the washrooms are used to be a knoll. And all down the north end of the park used to be trees and a small forest. We built forts in there as kids. The park was nice when it was put in and Burquitlam Plaza was nice and clean and the whole area was family oriented. Lots of fun. NOT ANYMORE. It's becoming a silo for Koreans. Richmond, Surrey, soon Coquitlam. Same old thing. Buy it up...develop it for mass immigration ...push us out....pump.them in.
Often walk my dog there. Summer time the park is widely used by the community. The baseball field,football, basketball court and the tennis courts are always used. The ground is one of the best kept. Koodo to the ground keeper. It is ashame that few more years the park will be replaced with condo development and YMCA. Hopefully the changes will be better. Time will tell.
