This is INDIAN food. Not greasy, great flavour, basic front of house, and an endless stream of takeout (20 people in the hour we were here) ... the chef is a spice master! I have eaten everywhere from Sitar to Dhaliwal, and this is THE best Indian I have had, period.
Incredible food at a very sharp price point. With filling lunch specials that include curry, rice and naan for under $10, this place is a deal. Not only that, but it's done we'll. I had the Shahi paneer at the recommendation of the server with generous cheese portions. The lamb curry looked equally appetising. The tandoori dishes are also done perfectly. Looking forward to returning!
Spice Art has become one of my favorite regular rituals. Their name says it all. With food worthy of a swanky downtown five star establishment, and a welcoming neighborhood restaurant staff, this place is well worth checking out. My wife and I have worked our way through most of the menu and have never left less than completely satisfied. Super-yum-tastic!
I spend a fortune on this place almost every week on SKipthedishes, usually getting something different everytime, and have always been impressed. The samosas are amazing, and great value.
I was looking for a good Indian restaurant and came across spicy art Indian Cuisine. I check the reviews and the star ratings and decided to give this place a try. While ordering take out, I noticed so many the phone is always ringing and delivery drivers come and go consistently. I order the vegetables samosas and to my surprise it was the best I probably ever had. It was texture is smooth and fresh not chunky like some other places I have tried. The butter chicken was creamy and had a hint of sweetness to it, which I really liked. Similar to something I really liked and enjoyed while living in Toronto. Overall I really enjoyed the food and I will be back.
