This place is awesome. We come here as often as we can, usually for birthdays or something. The shows are always hilarious. The food is pretty good for the price, and you're always full after. The drinks are HUGE. Would definitely recommend Giggle Dam for a good time, but make sure you book well in advance as I believe they sell out pretty fast.
Go here for the entertainment, they write there own material and keep you laughing. The cast are funny and very good singers, they entertain you with music as well as keeping you laughing. My only problem is the food choices, I wish there were more choices of appies, side dish choices and desserts. I would be happier preordering the food when I order the tickets, if that makes it easier for the kitchen. It's definitely the entertainment that keeps bringing us back.
The Giggle Dam Theatre was awesome! A really cool and unique dining experience. Although it seems a little pricey, you're paying for a four course meal with a show. The food was really good and filling, and the cocktails although a little pricey were SO GOOD! I highly recommend getting their triples! They come in a big mason jar with huge straws. As for the performance, the actors put their soul and hearts into it and it shows. We were laughing all night! Great place, I'm coming back soon :)
I go for birthday parties every couple years or so for both myself, friends and family. Have been lucky to experience this fantastic establishment many times over, I've never been disappointment. The owners and staff are friendly, food is always delicious, drinks never stop flowing and the shows are always done exceptionally. Two thumbs up and I will always continue to come back Always recommended anyone who has never gone or question about going. Definitely worth the money!
The Giggle Dam was an amazing experience. The show was funny, and irreverent. To my surprise the second half was a well performed on theme concert. This was welcome as it invited a party atmosphere for the end of the 5 hour night. The reason for missing a star is three-fold: the menu for vegetarians was severely lacking; the drinks are quite pricey; paying for the meal and swag was very difficult and time consuming. The vegetarian meal seemed like it was only on the menu to appease more customers, but was not cared about so it lacked the flavour and flair that the other items seemed to include. The drinks are delicious, but to be at $90 after 3 drinks for my date and I is incredibly high. I get that I got the Dam sized option each time, it is still shocking to see that price after entering the non refundable show. I bought a shirt from the swag table. This was after already waiting in line to have.paid for my food. The swag table had no means to collect funds which seemed funny, and thus I was back in line to pay. With new technologies such as table mounted wireless stations for card tap payments, this process needs to be streamlined. After all of that, I will definitely return to the Giggle Dam with family and friends, just need to save up to ensure a fun night.
