The vet their was so nice and compassionate when I had to put down my guinea pig she even let me stay there for a while just holding her

If I could give more than 5 stars I would!!! Shaughnessy Vet Hospital has taken such excellent care of my labrador since he was just 8 weeks old. The staff is consistently caring and kind, and make you feel welcome and valued. I have never had a bad experience, and I recommend them to all my friends and family who have pets. I have found that they are thorough, and hold your pets health as a priority...what else could you possibly ask for.A big thanks to Dr. Leah Hestrin Montgomery and to Dr. Sylvia S. Huang for your loving care today with my pup Sailor! He loves you guys and all the hugs and treats! I simply would not trust my pups health and well being with anyone else.
All the vets Ive dealt w. at Shaughnessy vet are very friendly, gentle & kind to our 3 animals & us owners. They are considerate when it comes to billing on regular checkups/visits for meds. But Ive found they like to push for the extras (such as expensive dental work on an 18yr old feline-doesnt make much sense-if no pain, etc). One upset.. they tested, found kidney issues, didnt offer to put on meds until 1 yr later once showing symptoms. Passed w. in a week. After speaking with other vets, they agreed they should have offered early treatment.
I highly recommend Shaughnessy Vet Hospital. All the staff has always kind, caring & compassionate with our dog and Dr. Sylvia is awesome! I have not met the other vets, but from what I hear they are great as well. Thank you to all the staff for taking such good care of our girl!
