Phenomenal food, excellent flavour, the service was a bit disorganized as one of the appetizers was not delivered and our server was confused by this. We ordered several dishes and shared them amongst our party of six, making for a very economical meal. They have a tiny kids menu with bland stuff that the kids would like, so the adults can try something more adventurous. The maitre d' was more concerned with his phone than handing us our cheque.
One of my top favour Indian restaurants. I have tried so many places throughout my lifetime and this one in particular has always been consistent and I have never been disappointed. Generally when you continue visiting the same place the quality changes or the service may downgrade. This place however, has always been top notch and very tasty. Cute little place and very friendly staff. Highly recommend to try Indian beer here.
Our favourite Indian restaurant in the Lower Mainland. Fantastic quality - we've ordered a wide variety of dishes over the years - the consistency and expert seasoning is incredible.My wife and I (lived in the UK for 30 years) like to think of ourselves as curry house aficionados :) and this place is the best we've found. The lunchtime buffet is a great way to explore a variety of the excellent cuisine on offer. Save some space for the rice pudding :)
Came here for supper with my husband and the server/manager kept saying How is everything, sir? Are you enjoying this and that, Sir? Never inquiring about the lady and I was sitting right there! Every time, only asking my husband and calling him Sir... Its 21st century and we live in a civilised world and a woman is a person too, you know... I didnt appreciate that he only wanted to know how my husband was enjoying his meal. It really bothered me AND my husband. Other than that, food was very good. But very puzzling service, sir.
Great food and friendly service! Large booths and tables to accommodate groups. Our group of 20 was seated together comfortably. Delicious vegetarian and meat dishes. Inexpensive menu, too. Try the Aloo Gobi!
