I called the Coquitlam store to see if they had any stock of the HIGH DEMAND Fingerlings Monkey Toys and was told they have rec'd a shipment; but it wasn't all put away yet; so she didn't know for sure how many they would have rec'd; but she was sure there would be some. I explained that I would be driving from the West End of Vancouver and didn't want to drive all the way out there for nothing. She said that there would likely be quite a few and if I came now (this was in the late morning) I should be able to get some. She said there was a limit of 5 per customer. I proceeded to drive to Coquitlam. When I got to the store a Clerk (there were 5 or 6 working) informed me that the shipment was in the back and hadn't been unpacked yet; but if I wanted to come back in an hour they should have it done. I decided to just look around the store and wait till they brought them out. About 45 minutes later another Clerk asked if she could help me and I explained that I had driven all the way out from the West End based on another employee telling me that they had some; but hadn't unpacked them yet. She went back to the warehouse and came back and said it would probably be a few hours before the shipment was unpacked and put away and that I could call back in a few hours and check. I couldn't wait around; so went home and called that night at about 8:30 p.m. to be told that they don't have any, none had been brought out from the back and he didn't know when they would get more; but to call back the next day. So today (which is the 'next day') I called them right at 9:30 a.m. and was told that they didn't have any and didn't know when they would be getting a shipment. I told her the rather long story (as detailed above), and she basically just repeated what she had already told me. Thanks for nothing. What a business. I did notice in the time I spent in the store that they seem pretty unorganized and I also noticed that their merchandise is certainly priced higher than most retailers selling the same products. I actually had to drive out to Coquitlam again today so decided to go into the store to see if they had any of the Fingerlings, and was told an entirely different storey by another clerk. He told me to check their Langley store. No Thanks....not shopping here again. Unbelievable!
Expensive, but very high quality. I find myself wanting to buy almost everything!
Nice little store, plenty of cool toys, but price is higher than other stores or online.
Great selection of toys for the size or store. Kids loving going in. Generally, toys are fairly priced. Free gift wrapping is a God send for us busy parents.
